Joel and Sandy Arcadipane are the founders of The Nap Experience. The nap experience started as a fun conversation years ago with friends. We love to nap! Sandy began power napping 10 years ago. She found that after just 15-20 minutes of sleep, she was reenergized, refocused and ready to face the rest of her day with a positive mood. After discussing her enjoyment of napping with other friends who shared her passion, they joked about opening a nap center where people could come to take naps. That idea was fun to dream about but after some discussion, the idea was dropped because...if people drove to our place to nap, they might as well just drive home.
Fast forward several years...Sandy is falling asleep at her desk, craving just 15 minutes to lay down somewhere when she thought, "I wish a bus would just drive up with a bed inside for me to nap. I just need 15 minutes! Just 15 minutes and I will be okay!" She started researching the idea of power naps and found a ton of scientific evidence that backed the effectiveness of power naps and BOOM the idea was birthed.
Since moving forward with their idea, they have received excellent feedback on how to improve their business model. As many people loved the idea of power napping, just as many said that they weren't nappers but would love time to break away from the workplace for a short time to just relax, unwind, meditate, pray, or reflect. That is where employee wellness took front and center stage of The Nap Experience.
The Nap Experience strives to be an employee-centric wellness service to the business community helping to bring wellness to all the employees it serves.
